Medical Doctor Q&A's
Name: Melissa

Question:
I am 26 and after my second child I had to get a hysterectomy almost 4 years ago and I have no one to talk to about why my body is so different and I really need some questions answered if you know of anyone in Oklahoma who can help me I would really love it.

Answer:
If you had only your uterus removed and not your ovaries, the problem may be more emotional and psychologic. In this case, a psychologist would be of value.
If your ovaries were removed, the change in your body is
certainly due to hormonal deficiency and you need to see a
gynecologist familiar with bioidentical hormone replacement treatment.
