Medical Doctor Q&A's
Name: kunbi

Question:
Hello doc,
I Am 33 years old and my period has become very scanty and it only last for 1 day. Though I did a test and I was told that am ovulating but could my scanty period prevent pregnancy? I really want to get pregnant, what can I do?

Answer:
Since you were told you were ovulating, the scanty period means that you are not producing enough estorgen or progesterone therefore the eggs that you are making are not mature enough.
You need to see a gynecologist experienced in fertility.
HE/She will run some tests and treat your problem so that you can get pregnant.
