Revival Soy Doctor Q&A's
Name: Melanie

I have Ventricular Tachycardia and was wondering if there is any stimulants in any of your products?

Hello Melanie,

Thank you for your question.

Before we get started, please read the following: We do not give medical advice. We provide nutritional information regarding Revival Soy products and information available in the public domain for the uses of soy. We advise you to discuss your personal medical issues with your physician. I hope our information will be helpful to you.

Premature Ventricular Contractions, arrythmias:

Soy protein has many heart benefits, but we don't know of any research on soy and PVCs.

How much caffeine does your shakes or bars contain per serving?

Our 3 chocolate shakes, and chocolate-coated bars have a small amount of caffeine per serving, but we do not add any caffeine or stimulants to any of the Revival soy products.
The average amount of caffeine in our chocolate shakes or bars (those that contain chocolate, chocolate chips or coffee) is only about 5 - 10 mg per serving. An average cola has over 50 mg of caffeine per serving, and a cup of coffee has abotu 80mg.

The chocolate has a mininal amount of natural cocoa caffeine in it, but we have never had any problems with caffeine. If you are extremely sensitive to caffeine, you have MANY other choices of products with no chocolate added.

Most of our bars and shakes are caffeine-free, as well as our soy chips, soy pasta, soynuts and soy “coffee”. Our chocolate-covered soynuts would have about 2 mg of caffeine per serving.

Please let me know if I can help further.
Best Regards,
Aaron Tabor, MD
