Ask Dr. Townsend Q&A's
Name: Diane

Question:
I have been on HRT for11 years after a totah hysterectomy when I was 34. I used to be on premarin but have been on progynova for 5/6 years. I feel brilliant but wonder if I should try something else, friend suggested tibilone. But I've just read about bio-identical hormones, whta do you suggest?
Ps I am slightly overweight and have an underactive thyroid so definitely don't need anything that'll make me fatter!

Answer:
I would suggest bioidentical hormones, estradiol and natural progesterone. power surge has an excellant source for bioidenticals.

Sincerely,

Dr. Townsend
