Name: pat

Question:
I am 52 years old, not yet in full blown menopause, but I would like to lose stubborn belly fat, and inches off my hips and thighs. Any suggestions on how to do this?

Answer:

Dear Pat -- I'm afraid there are no magic answers. Good old fashioned exercise -- a combination of weights and aerobics and a diet with little or no sugar, simple carbohydrates (like pasta, cookies, etc.) no caffeine, lots of fresh fruits and veggies and complex carbs (whole grains)and lots of water, plenty of rest and time to play and laugh-- That's it in a nutshell -- best of luck!
