Question: | |
About two weeks after my period ends, I develop bloating and cramps which last until my next period starts. Due to the irregularity of my periods, I now have these symptoms for weeks, even months at a time. It's very uncomfortable, plus none of my clothes fit, etc. Might HRT help me? Can I eexpect thias to last for the rest of my life? I have no other menopausal symptoms. I exercise very regularly and am the correct weight. I'm 55 years old.

This sounds like perimenopause to me. I would recommend Femhrt 1/5 because it might surpress the ovary a little better than low dose birth control pills, and give you a little better support. I don't think this will last the rest of your life, but Femhrt might help you get through this time.
