Intimacy Expert Q&A's
Name: Bill

Question:
My wife has menopause (a recent discovery) and we are beginning counseling and herbal medications. She has recently told me that there may be another man involved. It is an old flame from 15 years ago who recently called her and told her he was leaving his wife. My wife hasn't seen him in those 15 years but she immediately became interested. I have been told this is common as she sees me as the cause of her problems and him as the cure. How can I convince her that this new guy is not the answer and that she needs to put some effort into our relationship?

Answer:
Bill,

Since you are beginning counseling, that is the ideal place to address these questions. A new relationship is rarely the answer and I usually leads to further complications.
