I have been on ortho-novum 28 for a 1 1/2 years to control firbroid tumor bleeding (I have 1 that it 7cc) Previously I was taking Trilevlin 28 which didn't help; the ortho novum has stopped my periods (I may have a period every 3-4 months. My ? Is, I've decided to go off bc pills (scared of breast cancer)...I'm 48 and not sure what to expect, heavy bleeding, etc. I the heavy bleeding resumes, who do I contact to get help with getting natural hormones and I've hear dairy products are bad to eat when you have fibroids.
