My ? Is, I've decided to go off bc pills (scared of breast cancer)...I'm 48 and not sure what to expect, heavy bleeding, etc. I the heavy bleeding resumes, who do I contact to get help with getting natural hormones and I've hear dairy products are bad to eat when you have fibroids.

You must talk to your doctor, but you may like to visit www.menoplan.com. My new book talks about menopause, which you are close to experiencing. Sometimes surgery has to be considered. Ask your doctor.

Thank you for your question.
