Medical Doctor Q&A's
Name: Sue

Question:
Hi-
I Am wondering if you have heard of women having waves of extreme aches (much like how hot flashes might begin) normally at night, but not always. They tend to begin in the very core of my torso and expand to the rest of my body and last a minute at most. The sensation is best described as feeling like I have a horrible case of the flu. My mother said that she has experienced this, but have not heard of it anywhere else including symptoms listed on a web search. It is very uncomfortable and I am also wondering if you have suggestions of how to deal with it
Thanks,
Sue

Answer:
I am sorry that I have no information on the particular symptoms that you mention. I would advise that you contact your health practitioner for evaluation.
