I am trying to find out if anyone has used or is using GABA over the counter for anxiety. I would love to know if it really helps as I have heard it does not cross brain / something barrier so it does not work. Can anyone give me any info on this and also how much does one need to take?

My apologies but I am not able to give you any information on GABA. I am not familiar with it nor how it works. You might want to look into the

If you are considering using it, and if you are taking anti depressants or other medication, make sure that you check with your doctor or pharmacist before using it. There are a number of medications, over the counter and prescribed, that can not be used in conjunction with anti depressants.
