Relationship Expert Q&A's
Name: Leana

Question:
I realize it is irrational and a form of self-denigration to think they are going to treat others better than us. But my ex, who I met on a personal ad, never paid me a compliment. When he answered my ad, he made no comments about my photo or essay. He started his first letter simply by asking me if others thought there was something wrong with me for not being married, as was the case with him. He even tried to convince me that I was not as attractive as other (always younger) women. Then a few female acquaintances of mine placed ads which he answered, telling them how "awesome" and "great" they looked. I can't help but feel inadequate.

Answer:
Then he has accomplished his objective.
