I was glancing over a recent article in the magazine and it had a diet that claimed you could lose 20 lbs in 1 week. It consisted of a lot of pineapple and papya from what I remember from it. Is this truly possible?

Any weight loss plan that does not urge you to eat a full, healthy assortment of protein, veggies, fruits and complex carbs is a fad. No doubt you can lose weight eating as this gimmick diet suggests but you can be sure you will gain it back and then some.
