I am almost 20 and am living at my college. I am progressively gaining more and more weight and it is beginning to scare me. I find it very hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle in a college setting. The food doesn't allow for it, and the small section in the cafeteria that is remotely healthy gets redundant and I reach a point where I need more than the same salad each meal time. I need help and advice on how eat healthy here and stay motivated with exercise. I would really appreciate it if you could answer me through email. Thank you so much.

HI I would recommend you find the book "Mindful Eating 101" THis directly addresses the special difficulties of college life. I think you would be helped by it. Also, my book "The Taming of the Chew" is filled with useful suggestions to help you take loving care of yourself.
My very best. Don't give up! You are in a difficult enviorment to be sure but there are ways to help yourself thrive there too numerous for me to put in an e-mail.
