Ask Dr. Denise Lamothe Q&A's
Name: Michelle

Question:
Dear Dr. Lamothe,
I am in Menopause and have gained alot of weight very quickly, (8 Kilos in 2 1/2 months! This happened to me last year also and I received a natural (Soy) hormone therapy that worked for 10 months. Now the same thing has happened again. My doctor put me on Presomen (Composite Hormons). I have been taking these now over 3 full months and have no responce. I excercise daily over 1 hour and have been on Atkins diet for over 3 years. I am at my wits end. Is this typical (extreme weight gain) for menopause women and what can I do to reverse it.

Answer:
I also suggest you look into The Fat Flush Plan. This has been helpful for many folks I have worked with. Also, please look at my book, The Taming of the Chew as that too will help you understand the whole picture. Please go to my website DeniseLamothe.com and add your name to my newsletter list. Then, each month you'll get a little one page note to help with your journey. best of luck...
