Relationship Expert Q&A's
Name: Jen

Question:
I've maintained no contact with my ex CP for 8 months now. We were together 6 years before he dumped me. I was crushed, but I'm trying to move on. He has sent me a few cards, always proclaiming his love and respect for me, and recently contacted a relative of mine under the guise of wanting to say hello. He always mentions me as though I was the love of his life. He said he was in therapy to figure out his problem. I feel so torn by all of this. Am I supposed to hold out hope of some kind of reunion if he gets healthy? I want him to stop contacting me or people I know. Do I totally ignore, as I have been, contact him myself and ask him to stop, or have someone else do it? I'm so confused.

Answer:
He is not getting healthier and his unclean behavior is the proof. You need to move on. You need to move on. You can't stop him from contacting people but you can ask those people to keep that information away from you. You need to move on.
