Relationship Expert Q&A's
Name: Anon

I've read all of the archives and noticed that you almost always advise the partner of a CP to get out of the relationship, grieve, and move on. Is there ever anytime you would advise sticking it out, or even leaving with the hope that the CP will get help and and come back to a healthier relationship?

So few CP's ever get real help that I try to weigh the situation and give the most self-protective advice. Most CP's fail to maintain their commitment to therapy just as they've failed to maintain their commitment to everything else. The only therapy that's easy to stay committed to is bad therapy because it doesn't touch the problem.
