I am 43yr old ..total Hysterectomy in 1982 on HRT (estrace 2mg dly) I want to wean myself off.. I Read how to do that...and My regular doctor supports that... I Am on something called "liquid health" for 40+ herbal estrogen support... I Was interested in soy as well...would This help me with the transition and would I continue on them...also...how Would plant hormones benefit me...thanks

Dear Dana:
First of all the Estrace is a plant (soy) derived hormone. What we have to offer would include estradiol (Estrace) along with Estriol, possibly Testosterone and DHEA or Progesterone in a very low dose. To balance the hormones with the naturals helps keep many menopausal symptoms away for most women, as well as protect the bones from osteoporosis, help with memory, and muscle and joint aches. Since you have read on how to wean off, I won't repeat that part. The Soy, and Revival from Power-Surge is an excellent choice, they have shakes, chips and snack bars, which help many women; and would definitely help with the transition to being off of the hormones.
