Calm yourself down in seconds, anytime, anywhere with these easy techniques.

Whether stranded in traffic, stressed at work, or stuck in the so-called express line, impatience is hurting your health. We get frustrated because we expect technology to function perfectly every time, when it often doesnt.

Even our spirituality can be sapped by impatience. As we speed through traffic or elbow our way angrily through a crowded mall, were thinking about the future, getting to the next appointment, crossing the next item off a to-do list, rather than being mindful of the joy and spirituality of the present moment

Try this simple technique!

Would you like to feel better in less than ten seconds?
If so, try the following exercise, called "Three Deep Breaths."
As you do, keep your eyes open, and dont stop reading.

Now exhale.
Feels good, doesnt it?
Inhale again - a little deeper this time.
Now slow down your exhale. Stretch it out.
One more time - a long, slow inhale.
Pay attention as your breath comes in.
Dont think about it; just watch your breath as it fills your lungs.
Now the exhale - feel it, watch it. Exhale completely.

Try doing this ten times in the next twenty-four hours - at work, on the phone, in the so-called express lane at the supermarket, in traffic, in an elevator, at a restaurant when your three minute egg hasnt arrived after ten minutes.

And dont worry, no one will know what youre doing.
